well, today is day one. mike, dean, and i are going to go on a raw foods diet. i'm going to keep a journal of how i'm doing, how i'm feeling, and how the weight thing is going. i have to go 10 days, 30 is my preference, and hopefully, it will be until i reach my goal. my goal is to lose 25 lbs and i hope to stay on it until i get there. this blog is really good for me b/c if i quit, i have to tell everyone (all 5 of you) about it. we took some before pictures but i'm a little too insecure to put them on right now. so once i've gotten close to where i want to be, i'll be sure and post them.

so far, so good. i'm sure it's pretty obvious what i've eaten today. apple, banana, avacado, lots of raw sunflower seeds, carrots, grapes, salad (not a very good one. included corn off the cob, alfalfa sprouts, onion, tomato, super leafy lettuce, lemon juice (big mistake)), and i think a couple of other things i can't think of. i really need to get rid of those brownies from last night. not a great encouragement.
also a little hard, we just moved to some great eating, and now we can't eat out. oh well. like oprah says, nothing tastes as good as thin feels. if this doesn't work out with breastfeeding, i'll be very sad. but i'm trying to eat a little more than i would originally. and to all of you LNO people, i'm jealous. wish i was there. i'll keep you posted on the diet. (don't worry. i don't think you are super curious. it's for my own good, not yours.)
