brownwood or bust

boy howdy, am i looking forward to spending a few days with the family. i get to spend several days there, which means i get to relax, instead of always going going going. just wanted to post a couple of pictures that i took this morning. and if you think they aren't the most quality pictures or bad placement of the heads or any other complaint, you try taking a picture of three kids and yourself by yourself with one of the little bambinos pulling the other three people's hair. i won't mention any names, abby, but i think people will be able to figure out who it was. i'll give you a hint. she's the young one with the hair in her mouth. and that's all i'll say. here goes. have lots of work to do today. love you guys.

"Candy, please."

AKA trick or treat. well, for those of you who love trick or treaters (i'm sure i don't need a full finger to count you), here are some pictures of the kids semi-dressed for the outing. we're really cheap and thanks to tara and wayne and isaac and hannah (not you naomi. you had nothing to do with it.), we had sarah's costume. okay, so it was her 2year old birthday present from the friedmans but it was still cute. she had to wear some tights (not sure why she had to wear black tights) and it was so funny. she was walking down the sidewalk and didn't notice that her little yellow skirt was almost down around her knees because the tights were distracting her. so she had a big black gap between her short little top and her tiny little skirt. and it was hard for her to walk in those little high heels for long. the whole thing was very funny and i actually laughed out loud every time i saw her trying to keep up with the energetic dean and ian.

ian was superman, obviously. it wasn't a costume, it was an inflate-a-suit. and he thought he was strong. dean figured he'd get more use out of an inflate-a-suit than a regular costume and he was right. ian puts that thing on and goes around picking up the coffee table, the couch, and he carries sarah throughout the house coming to her rescue. it's so cute. he really does think he's strong because of the added muscle mass.

well, that was our story. i need to get rid of some of that candy. it was crazy how much they got. and good stuff too, unfortunately. i hate how much i love chocolate. but i'm doing okay with saying no to it. could be better though. until my next post in a couple of minutes.
