well, we just had a very action packed, fun-filled week. it all started saturday, with the arrival of sherry, bryan, and bryce. we got to spend some time with them before it was bed time, so that was very nice. the next morning was a first for me. let me start by saying that I LOVE MUSIC. a lot. and i've never been to a concert. so when we heard that 27 bands were going to be performing in frisco, i jumped at the chance. and about 10 of those bands were among our top picks. so the concert went from 9:30 am to about 10:30 pm. it was so much fun and the weather could not have been more perfect. and not having kids with you for about 14 hours was half the excitement. i had never been away from abby for so long. our favorite bands were the killers, papa roach, afi, my chemical romance, and blue october. so much fun.
monday morning, the family headed home as different family headed this way. jody and my dad very graciously gave up their better halves to the ledbetters. how exciting. and they stayed from monday until thursday. that's a really long time. and we made the most of it. we went shopping, we went to the park, the gym, krispy kreme (oops), and renewed my driver's license. what fun. hopefully, it won't be too long between visits.
